The founder of the Human Nature Forum passed away peacefully in his home on January 20th 2024. David was passionate about the study of human nature and wanted this site to be a high quality resource for anyone else that is interested in the topic. David studied and thought about human nature for many years including holding an in person discussion group in Marathon Florida. In recent years I worked together with David to refine his own theories on human nature into a list of 10 assertions. I acted only as a sounding board for David (my uncle) in this process and the assertions listed are entirely the product of his own thought process. One of David’s fondest wishes is that he could leave a legacy to help others. Among other contributions, David donated generously to KAIR of Marathon Florida to help people directly with basic needs of food and housing as well as to the University of Tampa in support of his fathers mission to provide a high quality educational institution to the people of Tampa and the surrounding areas. The Human Nature Forum is now in the final stages of achieving an official non profit status based in the state of Texas. I will continue to compile the highest quality information from the most relevant scholars and thinkers on the topic of human nature with a focus on both past and present theories and how they apply to our lives today.
